The Official Global GPS Cache Hunt Site

 

Geocaching is a popular treasure hunting game in whichparticipants use GPS (Global Positioning System) receivers to hide and seek forgeocache containers around the world. This techno-treasure hunt includes over750,000 caches worldwide, including nearly 63,000 caches inCalifornia. Caches are everywhere, including nearly 9,000 caches within 50miles of the Golden Gate Bridge. Anyone with a GPS device can play. It combinesgaming and technology which are two ever growing industries with one of the largestindustries across the world, Tourism.  Many Destination MarketingOrganization are adding Grocahing to their websites and mobile websites as away of attracting visitors to their area.
