Fishing

Catch more fish on the Jersey Shore with saltwater fishing reports. Find out what fish are biting and what fishing techniques work best.

The New Jersey Shoreline offers some of the best and most diverse fishing year round. Being located on the central Jersey Shore gives the angler a distinct advantage. Due to the convergence of the Hudson River Flow and the Delaware River Flow, the area can potentially out produce either single area for a variety of species. In addition to these two watersheds, is the Gulf Stream? During the year, game fish and many tropical species are found within reach. Who says you have to travel thousands of miles to land "The Big One"?

There are marinas either in or nearby virtually every New Jersey Shore town. Nearly all marinas have party boats, bait and tackle shops and parking for fishermen.

The largest New Jersey marina is located at the most northern point on the shore in Atlantic Highlands other large marinas are located in Belmar, Point Pleasant, Sea Bright, Brick and Neptune.

New Jersey's 131-mile coastline is the perfect summertime destination. From Sandy Hook to Cape May, the Jersey shore has long been known for its beaches, bays, resorts, charming seaside communities, boardwalks, and amusement parks.
