Welcome to The Jersey Shore, your four season destination. There is simply no place like Monmouth and Ocean County, where the beauty and excitement create an environment that will make your visit memorable. You can walk along the sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean on the east or take a ride on the rolling hills or scenic farm lands on the west. With over 131 miles of beaches, residents and visitors alike find themselves surrounded by a diverse range of attractions. Historic sites include churches, light houses, marinas, homes, and parks. They all have significant meaning, not only to the history of the Jersey Shore, but also to our nation's history. Amusement parks, racetracks, theaters, surfing, fishing, boating, and festivals provide year round day and evening entertainment.
Since the late 19th century, the Jersey Shore has been known for its rich musical heritage. Defined by its most popular artists, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, the Drifters, and Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes the Jersey Shore became nationally known in the 60s and 70s, and established itself as the place to play for all musicians.
As you embark upon your journey to The Jersey Shore, tune in to your sense of adventure. There's so much to do, see and experience. With something for everyone, the REAL Jersey Shore is more than just summertime fun, it's all year long.
