Dear Friends and family from all over the world!
Together, we struggle to pick up the pieces left by Hurricane Sandy.
It was and still remains a devastating sight to see our State in dismay. Moving ahead requires help from all of you. There will be many fund raisers, special events and concerts to help us here at the shore in the coming months. The best help you can give is to support the shore towns by visiting us, eating in the restaurants, shopping the downtowns, staying in one of our B&B or hotels and supporting events that are still open this fall and winter starting now. There are so many businesses that weathered the storm. Tourism still lives and some towns remain untouched by the devastation.
Rest assure, 2013 will be the best year yet because of our mutual love for the REAL Jersey Shore. Below you will find many ways YOU can help. Even if you are not here with us in person, you can send a generous donation to help Revive and Rebuild the Jersey Shore and NJ alike. These are your local business owners that also need your support to survive after the storm. This Hurricane was just a block in the road. The waves still crash on the shore line and people still walk the shore to get just a glimpse of normality.
The face of the Jersey Shore was never just the size of the oceans or boardwalks that make the Jersey shore great; it's the heart of the people who live here, the music that still lives and the attractions inland as well. They still exist. There may, at times, be much that divides us and in the darkest of nights and the fiercest of storms, we stand together. We are going to be ok. It's just going to be different. We are the kind of people that can get through anything just by helping each other. Some of us have no homes to go back to, but we have each other and giving each other hope. There will be more homes, more businesses, more boardwalks, more laughs and lots of leisure to be rebuilt and relive!
We are The REAL Jersey Shore, We are NJ, We are Strong, and we are ONE.
