• Each visitor creates about $109 in tax receipts, $64 of which goes to state and local authorities

Are you a part of the Jersey Shore Tourism industry?
In a word, YES!  Tourism is a unique industry that permeates many other industries not typically associated with travel.  The internationally accepted model for analyzing tourism's economic impact splits the industry into two sectors:

• Core Tourism: Industries that "touch" the visitor and benefit directly from their spending. (e.g. hotels, restaurants, museums, amusement parks, Chambers of Commerce, Business and Industry Associations...)

• Non-Core Tourism: Industries that supply those that touch the visitors (website developers, linen/food suppliers, couriers, janitorial services, construction)

EXPOSURE IS KEY! The CVB strives to give your business and our community many avenues for exposure, directly and indirectly. As a CVB sponsor, your business is presented to the visitor and potential visitors in the following ways:

The Jersey Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau is now accepting applications for Corporate sponsorships on barter.   Join a dynamic fast growing organization.
As a Corporate Sponsor, you can join the fastest growing DMO in the State of New Jersey.   Membership benefits are:

• Placement on http://www.visitthejerseyshore.com/
• Ad on Sponsor Page of CVB Website
• Priority consideration for inclusion and sponsorship in website related links and promotions.
• Business Referrals and Priority referral to groups, travel agents, group leaders and visitor inquiries.
• Free publicity. Your brochure may be included in our press kits to travel writers, travel agents, and other industry professionals. As well as Priority consideration for inclusion in press releases and advertising campaigns, including radio, print and Internet.
• Co-Op advertising is the biggest advantage of this level of Corporate Sponsorship. The power of our partnership allows your $ 10,000 marketing investment to yield a value of over $25,000 independently. Beginning with print advertising, priority placement for events, as well as marketing opportunities and representation at trade shows.
• Logo recognition on Print Advertising
• Predominant Logo recognition on all Fundraising Event Promotions
• Representation at Consumer and Travel Trade Exhibitions by use of rack cards provided to us.
• Government Advocacy - Jersey Shore CVB is a member of the NJ Travel Industry Association and U.S. Travel Association and partners with Monmouth and Ocean County
• Our organization solicits the tourism industry in Monmouth and Ocean counties
• Corporate Sponsors as part of the marketing investment will be represented as one of the major contributors at the end of the year gala as well as on upcoming promotional opportunities including events.
• Up to 20 free passport cards per business as an employee promotion of loyalty program
• Ability to offer discounts to CVB members and membership staff
• Receive CVB member publications. The CVB publishes e-newsletters throughout the year in order to keep members updated on industry happenings.
• Attend Annual CVB events: The CVB hosts fund raising events, Annual Meeting in featuring prominent speakers which allows sponsors and partners to gain insight on exciting tourism-related topics. The CVB hosts business card exchanges, membership drives and fundraising events throughout the year. This gives sponsors and partners an opportunity to network with fellow colleagues in the travel and tourism industry.

• New Corporate Sponsors can request time on the agenda at Board Meetings to present their business to the group. 

For those companies who are interested in other membership levels, we offer two additional membership levels, Core-Tourism membership and  Marketing Partner.  We reserve the right to review every application to determine the appropriate level of membership/sponsorship.  Because we are sponsored, in part, by a grant from the State of New Jersey, we are charged with the responsibility to make sure we categorize our members into the correct level.
